Virginia Puccio

Virginia Puccio is an entrepreneur and skilled Operations Strategist with an inclination to structured, strategic thinking from first principles. She loves mobilizing teams to solve complex challenges and has a broad set of experiences having worked at large companies, start-ups, non-profit organizations, ran her own business and coached rugby at the University level. Virginia also volunteers her time to various non-profit organizations and is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the School of Education & Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University. She is a self-described activist advocating against racism, patriarchy, animal exploitation, destruction of the planet and broadly systems of oppression. Virginia holds a BA degree from University of California, Davis and an MBA from Santa Clara University. She is a life-long athlete, having played sports since she was a child. Virginia is a native Californian and lives in the SF Bay Area.

Jefferson Packer

Jefferson Packer grew up in Philadelphia and became aware gradually of white privilege as he progressed through the public school system. Since moving to the Bay Area in 1998, he has pursued a career in the classical performing arts as pianist, singer, administrator, and group travel agent. Jefferson’s decision to convert to Judaism coincided with the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Erev Rosh Hashanah 5781.

Allison Shapiro

Director of Media & Communications Committee

Allison Shapiro is a native San Franciscan with experience in digital marketing, branding, and event planning. She obtained a degree in Communications from the University of Puget Sound where she also worked as the Special Events Programmer to plan and organize events that provide enrichment to the surrounding community. During her time there, Allison obtained a scholarship as an interfaith coordinator, reviving the campus' Jewish Student Union (JSU) for students of various backgrounds and beliefs within Judaism to come together as a community. Upon returning to San Francisco, Allison works as the events & membership coordinator for an association management company (AMC) that manages various not-for-profit organizations in California.
